In January, we kicked off our first Casper Foundation campaign with a simple goal: bring more attention and support to animals waiting for their chance.
Ahead of a Milwaukee Bucks game, we partnered with the Wisconsin Humane Society to welcome a few very special four-legged guests for a tunnel walk. For one night, the usual game-day entrance looked a little different, with adoptable animals taking center stage and helping shine a light on the work happening every day at shelters across the community.
Alongside the tunnel walk, we launched a fundraiser benefiting the Wisconsin Humane Society. Our community helped raise $1,056, and The Casper Foundation matched those funds to extend the impact of every contribution.
The support helped the Wisconsin Humane Society provide more than 20,000 meals for neonatal kittens, some of the smallest and most vulnerable animals in their care. At this stage, kittens rely on round-the-clock feedings and specialized support, making every meal an important part of giving them a chance to grow.
For us, it was a powerful example of what can happen when visibility turns into action.
A tunnel walk gave animals a new audience. That audience rallied behind a local organization, and together, we were able to put meaningful resources behind the people doing this work every day.
